Golden Week - Golden Update
Happy Golden Week everyone!
Sakura Season is coming to an end but there is something else to celebrate: Golden Week has officially begun. I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce the latest update on Suikakeibo. And it is a big one!
Suikakeibo Android 4.0 with a whole new and fresh design is LIVE and rolling out to all users!
After that last post in August 2024 I got quietly back to working on this, ironing out kinks, bringing over all the features you love and thanks to feedback from the community also drive some QoL improvements such as sorting cards on the homescreen.
All this effort has paid off and I am proud to introduce a fresh UI on Android, that was teased since version 3.9.0. Read until the end for a chance to win a premium upgrade for life!
Highlights in version 4
New menu bar
The menu has been moved out of that old rusty hamburger icon and is now found at the bottom.
It gives you quick access to the most used features:
- ic card history with access to export to CSV and statistics
- your card(s) list for the quick balance check and the scanner
- the “More” section with options to upgrade, setup notifications and more!
Adaptive UI in your homescreen
Your homescreen now adapts better to your needs. Got a single card? It shows alongside the NFC scanner. Got plenty of cards? The scanner moves to the background and the list automatically switches to a more compact design with sort options. Sort your cards in many ways to organize them as you see fit: by name, usage, balance and even color!

History screen revamp and more
The history screen got a revamp but of course keeps our signature train line colors. You will now find more filters in both your history (after tapping the export to CSV button) and your statistics.

Widgets in a fresh look!
After many years of neglect, widgets finally got some much needed updates. You can now choose between two designs: the classic card and a new bold full color option.
